Dr Ali is dually qualified as a doctor and a dentist. He graduated from King’s College London in 1995 and gained his fellowship after working in a number of maxillofacial units. He completed his medical training in 2003 from St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital. He mainly works as a staff and associate specialist in the oral and maxillofacial unit at Homerton University Hospital, and carries out sessions in practice one day a week.
He is competent in a wide variety of surgical dental procedures using both local anaesthesia and sedation. He has an interest in teaching and routinely helps run various courses, such as MJDF exam revision courses at the Royal College of Surgeons.
