Dr Vinita Choudhry is a dentist with enhanced skills in oral surgery, dental implants and intravenous sedation, with more than 13 years of clinical experience. She provides advanced oral surgery, including complex tooth extractions and wisdom tooth removal, alongside dental implant treatment and intravenous sedation. Following Dental Foundation Training, Dr Choudhry was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh before undertaking postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She trained and worked in NHS hospitals across the UK as a Speciality Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, developing extensive experience in complex tooth extractions, wisdom tooth surgery, medically complex patients, facial trauma and dental emergencies. This breadth of experience enables her to provide safe, predictable treatment, even in challenging cases.
Since 2018, Dr Choudhry has provided NHS Tier 2 Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery (IMOS) services alongside private oral surgery. As an NHS England accredited Tier 2 provider, she treats patients referred by their dentist for complex extractions that would otherwise often require hospital care. She currently provides NHS and private oral surgery services across London and Surrey.
Alongside oral surgery, Dr Choudhry has a keen interest in implant dentistry and was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Implantology with Distinction from the University of Central Lancashire. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education with Distinction and is fully qualified in intravenous sedation, allowing suitable patients to undergo treatment in a deeply relaxed and comfortable state while remaining safe and closely monitored throughout their procedure.
Committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care, Dr Choudhry continually develops her skills through ongoing professional education. She is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS), ensuring she remains up to date with the latest advances in oral surgery and implant dentistry.
